The certification is through ASCP for Medical Technologists.
You can't work in the clinical lab unless you are a medical
technologist in most states anyway, but contact ASCP about
their requirements for certification. They are located in
Chicago. American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of
Registry. 1-800-621-4142.
