Use the ACDU unit for the FACStar plus from BD. With this, you can sort
into 96 well cell culture plates or terasakiplates. With a special slide
holder, which comes with the kit, you can also sort on microscopical
slides. It is even possible to move the slide during sorting to sort
different cells onto different spots on the slide. I have a photograph,
where I sorted single beads into arrays of 4 times 4 drops, with a
distance of the drops of 0.3 mm from each other. So it works quite
accurat.

If you just want to sort one batch of cells on a slide, you can put your
slide on top of the plexiglass box beneath the sorting chamber. Between
this box and the front door to the sorting chamber is a small gap.
Microscope slides just fit through the gap when the front door is closed.
When you press the slide onto the top of the plexiglass box it lies
perfectly plain. Maybe, you can even fix it there with adhesive tape, if
you have a long sort.
