The Tropix company in Bedford, Mass, (phone - (617) 271-0045 ) makes
some chemiluminiscense substrates for beta-galactosidase and
alkaline phosphatase with very long half-lives (hours). I have used
their Galatron substrate for beta-galactosidase and have been very
pleased.
