Dear Mr. Becker

Thanks for your quick answer. I would like to work
with you to solve my problem.

I tested the MultiPlus version again.

Here my detailed explanation of what key strokes
and menus I use to cause the software to crash.

I start MPlus directly under MSDOS 6.2 (PC 486,
8 MB RAM)

MPlus commands/keys
what I have done

New Dir Path:
d:\elite\lmd\....
Select Files:
10 to 12 Coulter listmode files FCS1 standart
from a Epic Elite ESP, software version 4.0
Gate2P
PMT2 and PMT2peak (DNA peak versus area)
Gate region
Set a gate region, done
Select PMT2 and PMT3 to analyse (x)
Done / Accept
Set region #5
Done
Base Page
Analyse 1D
Region #5
Done
Mcycle X (or Mcyle Y)
one cell cycle
order of S 1
proceed
Base Page
Base Page
New File
Select PMT2 and PMT3 to anlyse as above (x)
Set region
Drag (+)
region #5
ready
Base page

and so on

The program crashes after 5 to 7 analysis. It crashes at the
moment after I start Mcycle (Analyse 1D / setting a region).
If I select only 1 file at once, the program never
crashes. Whenever I select many files at once, it crashes
after some analysis. It is possible to select and load many
files one after the other if you don't want to change to MCycle.

I have now heard from other people, that they have also
problems with the stability of MultiPlus, if they select
more then one or two files at once. I'm not the only one
with this problem.

The second problem is the annotate function. I load a listmode
file and select 2 parameters.
After annotating the histogram, I wanted to print it directly.
At this moment, the annotated lines disappeared and were not
printed. As this is a new bug in the new version ( the old
version 2.5 don't have this bug), it could be due of a new
printer driver.

I hope, I have helped you with the more detailed
information.

Sincerely

Andreas Simm
