In M. A. Hirsch, H. Lipner and R. C. Leif; "The Dissociation and Separation
of Bovine Adenohypophysial Cells". Cell Biophysics 1, pp. 93-115 (1979), we
employed a simple, continuous filtering apparatus to remove the cells from
the large clumps. This minimized the exposure of single cells and small
aggregates to the enzymes. Of greater significance, we reported our yield
in terms of DNA.
