Enough of GFP?

Has anyone any experience of measuring GFP expression by flow from
stably-integrated single copy vector in rapidly-dividing cells (DT
~20hrs).

I have seen no evidence that this is possible - but I'm sure someone
has tried by now. My particular interest in in stably infecting
human CD34+ cells with a retroviral vector bearing GFP as a marker.

I'd also be interested in any more news about artificial GFP mutants
at SER65 which are supposed to be up to 6x brighter than wt (Nature
373, 665).
