Flow cytometry specialist required to run the inter-departmental FACS
facility based within the Department of Medicine, Addenbrookes Hospital,
Cambridge, UK.
The ideal candidate will have several years flow cytometry experience
ideally with Becton Dickinson instruments, experience of cell sorting,
calcium flux measurement and data analysis. Duties will include operating
and maintaining the FACS Vantage cell sorter, instructing individuals in
the use of the multi-user FACSort and scheduling the use of both instruments.
The successful candidate will be expected to discuss projects with
researchers and advise on all aspects of flow cytometry.
