Steven Gore was asking for suggestions to label fixed cells with CD34. Try to
adopt the methodology we had used previously to study cell cycle status of
cultured CD34+ cells. You can find this in J. Immunol 148:815-20, 1992 or in
Exp Hematology 22:1264-72, 1994. Fixation of apoptotic cells with methanol
washes away the small size DNA fragments you are trying to label. Stick with
formaldehyde it works better.
CD ROM Vol 2 was produced by staff at the Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories
and distributed free of charge as an educational service to the cytometry community.
