RE: Paraformaldehyde fixative

Think about formalin. . . it's usable straight out of the bottle, and works
as well as paraformaldehyde for fixing cells. I don't know of any problems
with using it . . . my experience is paraformaldehyde and formalin give the
same results in immunofluorescence assays.
