Has anyone had any experience interfacing a BD FacsStar Flow
Cytometer over an Ethernet network to a Windows NT based server? Does
the MAC support the TCP/IP protocol or is the use of AppleTalk
mandatory?

Thanks

It can be done and it is very easy. I haven't done it for a FACS, I did do it for a regular MAC. you have to install MacTCP. Enable Mac Services on the NT Server, and in order to share directories you have to enable "mac sharing" in the File Manager. I can't remember off hand which menu item that is under.
