Analysis by fretting technique?

Hi Steve,
My name is Ken McDonald and I operate a FacsVantage/Facscan at our facility
at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. My questions are 1)What exactly
is analysis by fretting and 2) Can it be performed on the Vantage. I hear
that it takes quite a bit of laser wattage to get it to work?
