RE: $$ Fees

I would just like to add my two cents on the subjectof fee structure, since
ours at Northwestern seems to differ slightly from the others. We are partly
supported by NCI funds delegated through the University's Cancer Center, and
therefore charge by investigators funding source(s). This breaks down as
follows; $30/hr for investigators with nationally peer reviewed grant, and
full Cancer Center member standing, $45/hr for faculty who are full Cancer
Center members, and $75/hr for anybody else.

These fees are the same whether one drops off samples for a technician to
run, or if they run it themselves. The only instrumentation we currently
have is a dual laser Epics 752( with sort & UV capacity), and occasional use
of a four color XL.

We also give breaks to those who don't have monies for flow,( ie limited free
analysis ) in order to keep our user base up.

I would be extremely interested if J. Paul would post the fee table he
discussed in an earlier posting! (And please pass along the web site address
for those not in the know).
