Hi,

I did not see my reply to the phosphatidylserine questions on the mailing list. Instead I received a number
of undeliverables as others have experienced lately.
So, let's try again.

Annexin V is made available by BRAND Applications as a FITC conjugate
of 1:1 stoichiometry. This probe possesses full phospholipid binding
capacity and is highly sensitive for PS exposed by apoptotic cells.
It is a very bright probe, which distinguishes easily between
viable and early apoptotic cells. This is very nicely shown by
Seamus Martin et al. J.Exp.Med. 1995, 182; 1545-1556, who used
this probe to show that PS exposure is an early and general feature
of apoptosis regardless of the initiating trigger.

Since recently BRAND Applications changed its name to
NeXins Research BV.
