Thanks to those who replied to my CellQuest/LC630/system 7.5 message.

It would appear that system 7.5 was our problem despite some people
claiming success running this program under 7.5.
Booting the LC630 from an external drive with 7.1 seemed to solve the
problem. CellQuest also ran fine using RamDoubler to `effectively' gain
extra RAM. Obviously, however, LC630/8MB RAM/system 7.5/CellQuest could
just be a bad combination! RamDoubler certainly didn't make any difference
under 7.5
For those who mentioned the fpu and LC630/Quadra 630 issue; in Australia
this model is just sold as the LC630 with/without fpu (some people refer to
these as the `heavy or light' version!). There is no Quadra 630 model to my
knowledge. We certainly have the fpu.
We have not extensively tested CellQuest as we still have to install 7.1
on the internal hard disk. None of the 7.1 disks we have are new enough to
install to a 630; the 7.1 CD's we have (from other models) also don't list
the 630! Back to Apple for a 7.1/630 CD I guess!

Thanks again,
Leon.
