We are putting together a new fluorescent image analysis system and
are searching for a the best microscope for the job. Your help and
experience is appreciated. System requirements:
Automated focus, stage, nosepiece, shutters and filter wheels
motorized fluorescence exicitation changer computer controllable with
at least 4 positions - with registration and reproduciblity
would like a 250 position slide stage with automated feeder (that
works)
good tech support and service with service contract

the motor speeds and interfaces are important issues we will need to
address

I seem to remember at the ISAC meeting premeeting Image workshop 3
years ago a great microscope from Leica being presented there that
looked very much like what we want - but reps here in the USA say this
doesn't exist. Anyone remember that? Was I dreaming?

also interested in Mercury-Xenon lamp source with 2000 hr life - any
experience?

your prompt response is appreciated

Becky. :-)
