Dirty Power

We have observed some bizarre behavior of our flow cytometers ever since we
purchased them way back when Hector was a pup. I guess we always thought
that these behavior problems were just the nature of the beasts. However,
we are now suspicious of "dirty power" (primarily common mode events). Has
anyone else out there in flow land been exposed to this "dirty power" thing?
What was it's effect? How did you resolve the problem (we already have
dedicated lines)? Have any of you had any experience with power
conditioners?

TIA
