We here in Boston have had first-hand experience with the
following computer user log-in/out tracking software packages:-

"FACSlog" (H-P:310/340): available free of charge from Neal Benson
at the University of Florida (904-392-0008): an excellent basic package!

"PC/DACS" (IBM-PC & clones): from Mergent International Inc.
(1-800-688-3227) at around $150: good value very comprehensive package.

Other potential PC security packages include: "Assure" from Cordant
Inc. (1-800-843-1132) & "Stoplight" from Safetynet Inc. (1-800-851-0188).

The two packages in use here make system access control far
more precise & help greatly with the production of accurate accounts for
invoicing user groups. Account disputes are reduced as well, which is
always a bonus!
