We tried it and found that the install script failed to copy a large number of
required files to the directories known (cryptically) as /0/ and /1/. We had to
copy the files by hand.
Having gone through this excersize we find no improvement in speed and
only minor changes in cosmetics. The only useful improvement is the ability to
change directories without exiting to the utilities menu.
BD technical support was mystified as to why the install program didn't
properly install the program and hasn't called us back. They implied that we
were among the first to try the installation. Were we?
On a similar note - has anyone tried the new version of PC-LYSYS? I would
like to try it but am reluctant due to this experience.
