Dear fellow cytometrists:

I have completed the first draft of an attempt at a comprehensive catalog
of FREE flow cytometry software available through the Internet:

http://www.bio.umass.edu/mcbfacs/flowhome.html

I welcome suggestions for improvements in the catalog or additional entries.
The catalog includes descriptions of the features of programs such as
WinMDI (Scripps), MFI (UMass), IDLYK (Los Alamos), LAP (NIH), and AUTOKLUS
(Netherlands). It is divided into general purpose, cell cycle analysis,
cluster analysis, and miscellaneous. The latter includes over a dozen
small utilities or families of such utilities. Software is included for
DOS, Windows, MacIntosh, unix, and VMS. Software available for general
distribution may be obtained from the catalog at the click of a mouse. (If
you're using Mosaic, remember to select Options, Load to file before making
a click for an EXE or other binary file.) Happy browsing!
