Performance of the ESP

Flow Folks:

I have been asked to post a summary of the responses to my query regarding
the performance of the ESP and update the group on the specific perfomance of
ours.

Just to remind you...
We were having problems with our ESP and I wanted to find out if our experience
was typical of ESP users or if ours was the exception, and find out normal
operating parameters for the ESP.

Much to my pleasure, I found out that ours was by far the exception, and
everyone who responded who had the ESP liked it very much. No one else had
the problems that we experienced. I received 6 responses. Standard set up time
for a sterile ESP sort appears to be less than 2 hours, less than one for some
frequent sorters.

Our ESP is now performing quite reliably. It has been working for about 2
months, with only minimal problems (no more than any other sorter that I have
worked with).

Just one other quick note: Anyone who is considering purchasing an instrument
and is using my experience as a reason to question or even stay away from the
ESP, PLEASE contact me. I do not think that this incident is indicative of the
performance of the instrument and the chances that you will experience the same
problems are quite minute.
