The components in the Tower of Power always were and still
are a 486DX-66Mhz, 8 Megs of memory, VGA graphics, 800 x 600
multi-synch monitor, mouse, 200 meg drive, 3.5 floppy, 5.25
floppy, DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1.
When you won the computer at Lake Placid, Phoenix Flow
wanted you to take it home that night. But you declined,
because you were flying on to San Francisco before returning
to Hungary and did not want to carry it as a piece of
luggage. You asked us if we would ship it to you in Hungary
and we said yes. Since it was impossible to ship the Tower
of Power from Lake Placid to Hungary due to customs, we
shipped it back to Phoenix Flow with all the rest of our
equipment from the ISAC show. When the computer was shipped
back to San Diego, it was damaged by the shipping company
and arrived in pieces at Phoenix Flow (as we informed you).
We were not going to send you a crushed computer, so we took
the components from the original Tower of Power and put them
into a new smaller computer case (to save on shipping costs
to Hungary). We also replaced the 5.25 floppy drive which
was damaged in shipping but was fine except it no longer
ejected the floppy. At this point, the computer was packed
up and shipped to you in Hungary.
We apologize for any confusion created by the change in
computer cases.
