Tom,

I am presently using QuickKeys ver. 3.0.1. with the BD FACStation. I also
experienced similar problems you described, but have resolved them. Did you by
chance type in the batch process which BD listed in the "QuickKeys Tutorial for
CellQuest"(02-61496-00 Rev. A), June 1994?. This batch process should perform
the simple operation of: "selecting the document", "incrementing to the next
file" and "printing", but "locks-up" the computer !!.

Try creating the following batch process without the additional commands listed
in the booklet:

Begin Repeat
Select All
Next Data File
Print
Ret.
Pause 5.0 sec.
End Repeat

Hope this resolves any problems you may have.

I am re-posting this since I recieved no responses and had some recent
problems with our e-mail system.

Is anybody out there using QuicKeys with the BD FACStation
(MacIntosh)? We're having all kinds of problems when we
try using it with CellQuest. We couldn't even boot
until we removed the QuicKeys Toolbox extension. We've
removed other extensions to keep INITs to a minimim.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, esp. from BD.

thanks, tom d.
