Tumour Heterogeneity Meeting

This is a follow up to Vince Shankey's message of 23-11-94.

1). I will put together an information package (including the NIH grant
application) about the meeting and mail it to those who are interested.
This will be a slightly unorthodox meeting, with no formal presentations
(slides are banned). Instead we plan very intense brainstorming sessions
trying to rethink the role of cytometry in defined areas of human cancer
biology, with particular emphasis on quantification, data interpretation,
and the problems of cellular heterogeneity.
2). Although there is no registration fee, we require advanced payment for
accomodation and meals (the food is excellent!), as part of the deal we
struck with the hotel. If you pay and then find you can't come, you need
to let us know early if you want your money back.
3). Kananaskis is isolated up in the Rockies (accessible from Calgary
International Airport). The hotel has agreed to allow people to stay on
after the meeting at conference rates if they wish to do some hiking etc.,
but let me reemphasise that this is intended to be a very intensive
meeting where all attendees are expected to participate.
4). My prefered fax number is: 416-926-2026, or E-mail.
