BERLEX BIOSCIENCES

A position is now available in the Cytometry Laboratory of Berlex
Biosciences using state of the art flow cytometers in support of drug
discoery in oncology, inflammation, and cardiovascular diseases.
Responibilities include: designing cell biology experiments, operation of
flow cytometers and cell sorters, data analysis, tissue culture, cell
labeling, and development of novel cell analysis protocols. You will be
expected to work independently in a multi-user core cytometry laboratory.

The requirements are: a BS/MS in a biological science with seven
years of laboratory experience, expertise in a wide range of flow cytometry
and cell sorting applications, and the ability to perform tissue culture
and cell labeling protocols. Skills in computer based data analysis,
immunohistochemistry, _in situ_ hybridization, and familiarity with cell
culture models of cancer, inflammation, and cardiovascular disease,
are desirable.
