Dear Fellow Flow Experts,
I am searching for a manufacturer of fluorescent beads. These beads must
be 6-8 um in diameter, fluoresce under 488 nm excitation and emit from
525 to 675 nm for detection in the typical FL1, FL2 and FL3
configuration, and, here's the catch, have a fluorescence intensity
similar to that of lymphocytes; about 1000-2000 MESF.
Coulter Diagnostics sells Immunobrite beads as a kit which contains
level II beads. These are perfect for my applications, however, they only
sell these as a kit. To get one 5 mL bottle one must purchase the entire
kit containing blanks plus 4 other fluorescence intensity standards. This
is too expensive.
If anyone knows of such a product could you please send the
manufacturer's name and how they can be contacted. Many thanks in
advance.
