Does anyone in the User Group have a FACS 440 (or know of someone who has
one) that is operational but not your primary instrument? If so, I would
like to discuss borrowing a few specific cards and/or boards to swap with
the ones in our instrument to see if I can identify a problem. We would
pay to have them sent FedEx to us and we would return them the same way.
If the problem can be identified in this way, perhaps we can then
purchase the needed part(s) from BD without a service call.

Also we would be interested in knowing if anyone out there is using a
FACS 440 as their ONLY flow cytometer for research studies or does
everyone with a 440 have at least one other such as a FACScan? If you
regularly use a 440 will you please let us know? Thanks.
