With regards to determining whether an optical filter has
changed its transmission properties, there is a technical
tutorial published in Cytometry (Volume 9, Number 4, pp277-
280) in 1988 which describes a fairly straightforward method
of monitoring filter performance. If there is anyone who
does not have access to Cytometry but would like a copy of
the article please contact me and I will send you a reprint
or FAX you a copy.
