Greetings and Salutations:

We are interested in practical performance characteristics of the sysmex
R1000 and R3000 reticulocyte flow cytometers. Throughput, precision,
limitations, and reliability are a few characteristics of importance to
us. We are especially interested in input from anyone who has used the
instruments for dog, monkey, or rodent reticulocyte counting, although
any information will be useful. We presently use a FACScan for counting.

Also, is anyone aware of special characteristics/precautions regarding
Auramine O, the dye used by Sysmex for RNA staining.

I hope to see some of you at the South Central Flow Cytometry
Association meeting this week.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

David Abbott
