It is possible to hook a Profile II to a lantastic network.
Provided you are absolutely sure you have the 286 computer inside your
Profile. If you have an XT forget it. The only tricks are pluging in a
keyboard to your Profile and rubbing your finger across the touch screen
as the machine exits the Profile software so you get the DOS prompt.
Once you get the DOS prompt insert the lantastic diskette and follow the
normal installation procedures. Remember to set the Profile up as a
server if you want to access the data from a remote computer. Otherwise,
you can redirect the syquest as a network drive so the profile will
automatically store listmode files over the network to a remote server.
