FCAP-list is a software application for Flow Cytometry data Analysis and Processing on Apple Macintosh computers. FCAP-list can read all data files saved in FCS1.0 and FCS2.0 data file format regardless of the primary instrument on which the data were acquired.

You can copy FCAP-list installation files into your computer, convert them into executable files, and learn more about this powerful software by choosing one of the following options:

if you wish to get general information regarding the usage of the software.
Getting FCAP-list
if you want to copy the demonstration version of the FCAP-list installation files onto your computer's hard disk from the Web page. You can convert the 'demo' version into the 'full' version with your individual registration code as described in the FCAP-list Registration section below.
Convert FCAP-list
if you need to learn how to make executable Macintosh software from the downloaded 'zipped' files.
Getting Demo User's Guide
if you want to get the Demo User's Guide from this CD or our Web site.
FCAP-list Graphics
for a demonstration of the available graphics output of single parameter histograms, bivariate plots and three-dimensional plots generated by FCAP-list.
FCAP-list Registration
if you want to try the full capacity of the software with your own data. The demonstration version of this powerful software shows all its features with the sample data files that are provided with the installation package. Certain features, mainly saving and printing commands are restricted with your own data. You can turn the 'demo' version into the 'full' version with an individual registration code which you can get from Soft Flow.
FCAP-BASIC
if you wish to learn about the programming capability of FCAP-list. We have developed a programming language called FCAP-BASIC which allows you to write special data analysis protocols. The FCAP-list software has an FCAP-BASIC interpreter engine which executes the software applications written in FCAP-BASIC. In this section you can find several code examples which might help you to write your own application.

Getting FCAP-list

For your convenience, the zipped FCAP-list installation files are located in the SOFTFLOW\FCAP directory.

In addition, you can reach our WWW page at http://www.wavefront.com/~soft-flow if you are currently on the Internet. This WWW site contains the latest version of FCAP-list in zipped format. You get two files into your computer when you download FCAP-list installation files via Internet just by clicking:

macid102.zip
and
macdf102.zip
In order to make executable files you need to create installer disks from files 'macid102.zip' and 'macdf102.zip'.

Copy the files onto the Macintosh hard disk and un-zip (extract) the zipped information with the ZipIt or UnZip programs (see below: Convert FCAP-list).

Getting Demo User's Guide

For your convenience, the FCAP-list Demo User's Guide is located in the SOFTFLOW\FCAP directory in a file called "FCLGUIDE.DOC".

In addition, you can reach our WWW page at http://www.wavefront.com/~soft-flow if you are currently on the Internet. You can download this file in zipped format by clicking:

Demo User's Guide is a Microsoft Word 5.0 document for Apple Macintosh. The downloaded file (filename: fclguide.zip) is a 'zipped' file which should be extracted with the ZipIt software before use. See the Convert FCAP-list option for more details regarding ZipIt.

Convert FCAP-list

The zipped FCAP-list file can be extracted - among others - with the ZipIt or UnZip Macintosh programs.

Un-zip the 'macid102.zip' file. The extracted files appear in a folder entitled "FCAP-list Installer Disk". Copy these files onto a floppy disk and name the disk to "FCAP-list Installer Disk".

Un-zip the 'macdf102.zip' file. The extracted files appear in a folder entitled "FCAP-list Demo Files Disk". Copy these files onto a floppy disk and name the disk to "FCAP-list Demo Files Disk".

Use the diskettes to install FCAP-list demo on the hard disk of your Macintosh.

The ZipIt software application is enclosed in the SOFTFLOW\ZIPIT directory in hqx format.

ZipIt126.hqx
The ZipIt126.hqx is saved in binhex 4 format.

In order to have an executable ZipIt software, you should extract the downloaded ZipIt126 file with the DeHQX conversion software.
