clinical flow questions

Dear Flowers,

 

I've recently joined a clinical flow cytometry testing lab after many
years in research and am in need of some help.

 

First, how long after collection can a heparinized blood be tested? 

If a sample is being shipped, should it be shipped with a cold pack?

Should sample be stored at 4deg or room temp.
Is there some kind of literature or reference out there regarding
collection of clinical samples?
