Hi folks, sorry about the blank posting: my hands are not so steady with all the excitement of Christmas coming! I'm posting to canvass opinion on whether the use of FCS in lyse-no wash preparations of whole blood is regarded as helpful or not. We don't use it in our panels, four colours on a Coulter XL, not always human samples, but I was given a paper by my manager from a different group doing similar work who do use it. I've used it in the past on indirect techniques, but always washed it out before running samples. Obviously this is not possible in a lyse-no wash setup. Anybody out there have strong opinions?
