('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) Hi all, Here is a summary of the responses I have received so far meant for anyone who may be experiencing similar issues. Many thanks to everyone who responded! Pani Dear Pani, We recently had the opposite problem where our lab was too cold in some areas. Our maintenance staff were kind enough to move the temperature sensor to the coldest area of the lab, and this sorted the problem immediately. Could your staff move the sensor nearer to the Aria (assuming this is the source of the heat increase), thereby allowing the temperature to be maintained at a more suitable temperature? Regards, Merrill Hi Pani, We have our MoFlo in a dedicated room, with classified air, but in order to maintain the temperature we installed a SPLIT air conditioner, that only re circulates the air from this room. The fresh air comes through the HEPA filter in the ceiling, and is managed with the centralized air system. We can confirm you that keeping the temperature between 19- 21 °C is better for the runs, the alignment is maintained OK. Best regards Maria Laura Cabanas GEMABIOTECH Buenos Aires Argentina Hi, 65 deg. F. is a bit much. I think most people would agree that 70-72 would be fine. That would make it much easier on your HVAC guy. The service Reps. sometimes will exaggerate. They want things to be 110% of optimal. For sorting its the consistancy of temp that's important. Steady 70/72/74 wherever you land. Hello Pani, You might consider an auxiliary AC unit to cool the area. Our lab had one built in during construction since it was anticipated that the house AC would be inadequate. However, there are some portable units like the ones from Alen Corp. (http://www.alencorp.com/air_conditioners.asp) that you might consider. HTH, Jim Hi, I would get your BD engineer to check the fluidics it is more likely to be a valve or pinch valve which is on the way out. I had a faulty one with my BD vantage SE and it took a year to be sorted out. BD machines usually are reliable over a range of temperatures, they are used in Antarctica and desert regions after all. Air conditioning sometimes is very difficult to change if other people are on the same circuit as you. At the end of the day the operator should be comfortable.
