I can also testify to the service we receive from CytoServe. If you
wish a service contract for an old Coulter Elite, he's the only game in
town as Coulter has declared them obselete. I can therefore sympatize
with the BD users whose sorters are soon to follow into the same
category. However, there are always options. I remember when Kevin
Becker started Phoenix Flow, he was servicing old Ortho Cytofluorografs
which were no longer being serviced by Ortho, so there are almost always
options.

I do want to thank the list as I found Ozzie (when he was with the now
defunct Alternative Biomedical Services company) through this list.
That e-mail was on the list around 1999-2000 when I found them. This is
a great community for everything from maintenance issues to scientific
issues with our cytometry experiments.

Hi Jenny...

For Beckman-Coulter XL service, we have used CytoServe, operated by
Ozzie Del Valle (formerly of Coulter and Alternative Biomedical
Services). His company does preventative maintenance and instrument
service on XLs and XL-MCLs, and can probably help you with parts too.
He does good work.

His phone is 786-256-3141.

Hi all!

I have a question for all you experienced flow cytometrists out there.
In a recent move,
a couple of fittings on our Beckman-
Coulter Epics XL-MCL were broken. We need to order some replacement
parts, but have recently been unhappy with BC's customer service
department and wish to take our business elsewhere if possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we might find an outside
supplier for Beckman-Coulter Flow replacement
parts?	Thanks a ton! All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Jenny
