I had quite some success with removing mycoplasma from the cell line KU812 (basophil
precursor), by incubating it in 20 % plasma from a person that had influenza. I believe
that we did 3 or 4 changes of medium with plasma instead of bovine serum. I have not
investigated this any further, but hypothesised that it was the complement in the plasma
that did the trick.
