CLIA licensed in NJ, licensed by the State of NY & CAP Accredited Ability to supervise approximately twelve clinical technicians, and growing, in cytogenetics (G-Banding), and FISH (including UroVysion). MUST be computer literate, must be able to supervise, and work "hands-on", while also possessing strong interpersonal skills. This position will require skills in supervising and also will require ability to maintain quality control over all laboratory protocols. Candidate must have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills. Must have Bachelors or Masters with 5-10 years of experience in cytogenetics, and at least 5 years in a supervisory role in a cytogenetics laboratory. Will consider a PhD. Will report to Board Certified Laboratory Director, who, in turn, reports to Medical Director and Senior Management. Excellent salary & benefits package including 3 weeks paid vacation.
