Elephant Blood

I was helping out the San Diego Zoo who are hoping to sort the different 
PBL subsets from elephant blood based on scatter.  Before I get too 
involved in this, is there anybody out there who has happened to have 
done work with elephants or hyraxes?  I know it's a long shot, but with 
this flow crowd, you never know....
