Human Immunology Core Manager Vanderbilt University Medical Center is offering an outstanding opportunity for a qualified immunologist to direct and manage an innovative research-only human immunology core laboratory. The facility has outstanding equipment infrastructure, strong funding, and a highly knowledgeable research user base. Description The successful candidate will have extensive experience and expertise with experimental design, set-up and troubleshooting of various flow cytometric immunology assays including cytometric bead arrays, intracellular staining for cytokines, chemokines, phosphorylated proteins and multi-color phenotyping of cells using up to 15-colors. In addition, candidates should have experience and expertise with most common Immunology assays such as ELISA and ELISpot as well as protein purification and fluorescent conjugations of monoclonal antibodies. Candidates with experience in the independent management of laboratory facilities or programs, and technicians are preferred. Qualifications PhD in life sciences or a related field. Candidates also should have previous work experience in either academic or industrial laboratories. Excellent personal skills, problem solving skills, team mentality, and customer service mindset are required attributes for this position.
