[Neuronal nuclei identification ]

Greetings everyone:

I have an investigator who is attempting to extract nuclei from unfixed
postmortem human cortex and isolate neuronal nuclei from those of other
cell types (astrocytes and oligodendrocytes) by sorting. The
methylation patterns of the genomic DNA from these neuronal nuclei will
then be analyzed. Does anyone have any tips or wisdom they can add with
processing the cells for sorting?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Best regards,

-Rich
