Hi I'm curious to know the general practice for setting baseline voltage determinations for leukemia/lymphoma testing. BD has an automated setup method that uses labeled or stained beads, that sets baseline voltages as well as compensation for the Canto. They suggest that these beads be run every day as a QC measure. Should the voltage settings, established by these beads, be used for L/L testing or should baseline voltages be determined using representative clinical material or normal PB lymphocytes? Thanks, in advance, for your input. Michael Schwartz, CLS, MT (ASCP)
