Dear Fellow Cytometrists, I have an investigator that is looking for a way to definitively mark osteoprogenitor cells by flow. We have come up with CD40 and CD99 but are wondering if there are other established methods that people are using currently. Most of the literature is about labeling bone marrow mesenchymal cells, which are theoretically the same as osteoprogenitors, and we are unsure as to how we can further purify as what we see labeled as osteoprogenitors. We simply want to count the positively stained cells. Any thoughts or insights are appreciated!
