JM,

Go to the Perdue website and do a search for fixation and PFA. You will find
many good discussions.

Two great reviews that address fixation by Jacobberger & Bauer listed below
if you want to get
into the details.

Subject: [ Fixation Methods ? ]

Dear all,
I am new in that mailing list.
Appart of PFA and cold methanol fixation. Is there any other fixation
methods?
Furthermore, when looking at litterature, i have the feeling that the method
used is more a question of habit that with real rational (why one or
another, why 2% versus 3% PFA, etc). of course i know it is caricatural
because, depend on what one is looking on the cell a method would be better,
and there is some aspect like PFA that may disturb reading on DsRed).
I know my question is very naive but i would appreciate you advice on that
matter.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards
JM Garcia
