The Centre of Excellence for Research on Aging - group of Cancer Pathology (www.fondazioneunich.it/cesi/) in Central Italy, offers state-of-the-art platforms for genomic, proteomic and clinical research in a dynamic and highly interactive environment. We are seeking 2 highly motivated Marie Curie Fellows to work on the definition of the regulation of expression and signaling network of Trop proteins in the growth and apoptosis of cancer cells. Research activities will develop at the interface between flow cytometry, molecular biology, cellular oncology and structural biology. The successful applicants will hold a PhD and/or an MD degree, with a strong track record in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and flow cytometry; additional experience in use of DNA and protein arrays and bioinformatics is welcome. Gross salaries of 56,000 euro/year (intermediate; more than 4 years of experience) or 80,000 euro/year (senior; more than 10 years of experience) will be offered for 24 month contracts with tenure track perspective.
