RE: Centrifuge Help!

Hi Sara,
You have a lot of choices in this type of centrifuge. If you want a bench-top centrifuge check out the Brinkmann (Eppendorf) 5810, Sorvall Legend series and Beckman Allegra series.
We had bad experiences with MSE(Sanyo),IEC and Hanil( Korean, good centrifuge but hard to get parts.)
We recently bought a Hettich Rotina 38 and it has a nice interface and stores a couple of programs. I can't give an opinion on its reliability yet.

Hello All!

We recently have to retire our Flow Cytometry Centrifuge. I have been looking thru several books and have no idea what type of centrifuge I should purchase. I am wondering if anyone is able to lend me a hand or give their opinion on what is used in their Clinical Flow Cytometry Department. I use 15ml conical tubes and regular test tubes that are used on the analyzers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
