The appropriate use isotype controls has been discussed multiple times on this email forum and in several scientific journal articles. The goal of the workshop is to discuss the use (or misuse) of background fluorescence controls in flow cytometry and identify discrepancies in data interpretation that has lead to confusion over isotype control use. The ultimate goal of this workshop is to consolidate users opinions and data to create a practical guide for the measurement of background fluorescence in flow cytometry. Please consider participating in this relevant workshop. If you would like to make a short presentation to share your experiences or data (5 slides Maximum) let us know at your earliest convenience.
