Dear FLOW list members, Pardon me if it is too simple a question or repeatedly raised question! I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of using 4% paraformadehyde vs 1% paraformadehyde. Our 1% paraformadehyde stored at 4degrees is fine for long time. However, I have seen many researchers reporting 4% paraformadehyde, that too prepared fresh every week; or 8% stock stored frozen for a short while etc. How is this preparation superior?
