Dear Flowers,
We are currently developing a B cell phenotyping assay for the diagnosis of CVID and
other humoral Immunodeficiencies. I am suspecting that the cells that were cryopreserved
are expressing a higher percentage of CD19+ b cells than the fresh ones. Have anyone seen
such an effect?. I also request if anyone could give me an idea of the normal reference
range of Cd19+ B cells and CD27+CD19+ B cells in PBMCs. We are currently measuring about
12-15% of CD19+ Cells (gated on lymphs using CD45) and among the B cells, we have about
10-20% of CD27 expression.
Is this normal or are we doing something wrong?
I thank you all in advance for your replies.
Regards,
Vijay
