2nd European Course on Clinical Cytometry (12-13 September 2006)
6th Euroconference on Clinical Cell Analysis (14-16 September 2006)

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The newly founded European Society for Clinical Cell Analysis (ESCCA;
formerly European Working Group on Clinical Cell Analysis) will organise the
"6th Euroconference on Clinical Cell Analysis" from 14-16 September 2006 at
the Palazzo dei Congressi in Stresa (Lago Maggiore, Italy). We have invited
an outstanding slate of speakers covering a wide range of clinical cytometry
topics ranging from 'minimal residual disease in cancer' to 'clinical cell
analysis in the emergency room', and from 'inherited immunodeficiencies' to
'the AIDS pandemic.'

As in previous years, we highly encourage submission of abstracts for oral
and poster presentation. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and 12 will be
selected for oral presentation. All accepted abstracts submitted prior to 1
June 2006 will be published in Clinical Cytometry.

For the second time, the conference shall be preceded by a 2-day practical
training course in clinical cytometry (12-13 September 2006), to which a
maximum of 120 students, 40 students/course, can participate (see below).
This "2nd European Course in Clinical Cytometry" will be held in Hotel Villa
Carlotta in the nearby village of Belgirate.

Registration for course and conference, abstract submission and hotel room
reservation can all be done online at our website,
www.cytometry-stresa2006.org. Combined registration for course and
conference are at reduced fees.

The scientific organizing committee has endeavored that the programs of the
course and the conference will provide a great opportunity to learn and
share scientific expertise, as well as establish or renew professional
friendships and collaborations. We thank you in advance for your interest in
this program, and wish you an enjoyable and productive visit to the Lago
Maggiore region!
