Acceptable CD3 difference in multiTEST

Hello, I have a clinical flow question. We would like to know if anyone knows what the accepted range should be for the CD3 difference in BD's 4 color MultiTEST. We are using the dual platform (ie not Trucount or other bead method), and have been using 2% or less as our accepted CD3 difference between our 3/8/45/4 and 3/16-56/45/19 tubes. We based this range on the standard deviation of 1% for each reagent and figured that 2% should be the maximum allowable difference. We find that on some difficult samples that is difficult to achieve. What we really want is a citeable reference, but will welcome any input from the group.

Thank you,
