Probability binning anyone?

Dear flowing colleagues,

does anybody know of some practical workshop on use of computational
approaches to analyze polychromatic flow data?
Is any workshop of this kind to be held on ISAC 2006?

I would be interested to learn how to find "empty spaces" in 9 colour
data. (To compare batches of normals vs. individual or batches of
experimental samples). I have played a bit with probability binning in
FlowJo, have read the publications, but I would likely need something
different (or a better understanding of this approach?).

Thank you for any suggestions
